ABOUT CLAUDIA A. NICHOLAS
AA. Merchandise Product Development
BFA. Textile Design
Drawing from my roots in the vibrant border city of Tijuana, Baja California, and my appreciation for storytelling, I seek to infuse my work with meaningful narratives that speak beyond aesthetics.
As a creative communicator, textile artist, and surface designer, I have found these dynamic mediums to allow me to channel the exploration of abstract concepts that arise from intimate conversations within myself and God.
Looking to understand the world around me and within me, I am often drawn to symbolism, metaphor, and intuitive design. Whether it is visually evident or hidden behind the process, there is always a story. I am committed to designing with intention.
I work primarily with natural fibers, blending industrial printing techniques with traditional hand-painting methods, with a particular interest in interior design, kitchenware development, and fashion accessories.
My goal is to create something beautiful that results from a faith-filled journey, honoring human connection and craftsmanship.
